Photo taken in the Command Center Room for Helicopter Pilots Crew Chiefs and Medical Corp Personnel at the Fort Benning Airbase, Columbus, Georgia. This photo was taken after I returned from a Medical Evacuation (Medevac) run, we airlift a airborne trainee to the Fort Benning Hospital. At Fort Benning Airport I had my first helicopter flight in a huey, flown by a Test Pilot, I can still hear the Crew Chief, a Vietnam Vet cursing, not to be caught flying with that crazy @&$@! ever. A lot of wounded men in Vietnam owe their lives to these Chopper Pilots because of their bravery in landing in hot fire zones.
